Keller joins Hanson’s Chicago regional office
OAK BROOK, Ill. — Mark Keller, EIT, railroad designer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office. He will design various bridge and retaining wall components for rail projects throughout the country.
Prior to joining the company, he was an intern for Larson Engineering Inc. in Chicago, for which he analyzed structures and designed building additions. He also was a structural engineer for a consulting engineering firm in Champaign, Ill., where he assisted with bridge design and inspections.
Keller received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He was president of UIUC’s American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) chapter and chair of ASCE’s regional conference for students.
