Beck, Stolz mark five years at Hanson
Two employees recently celebrated five years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Brandon Beck, a construction project specialist at the Peoria, Illinois, office, previously worked for Hanson for six years before rejoining the company in 2012. He has provided construction-phase services, such as overseeing resident engineers and conducting construction observation and task management, for pavement improvements, new taxiways and runways, apron expansions, airfield lighting installations and more at Illinois airports, including Decatur, Dekalb Taylor Municipal and Macomb Municipal. He is the field team lead and task manager for pavement condition index surveys and pavement management system implementation at U.S. Army garrisons at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, and Stuttgart, Germany. He received an associate degree in 2000 from Illinois Central College and a bachelor’s degree in construction in 2002 from Bradley University.
Barry Stolz, P.E., a project manager, worked for engineering firms in Indianapolis before joining Hanson’s St. Louis regional office in 2012. He has provided project management and design for airport projects, including a taxiway reconstruction and runway safety area improvements at St. Louis Regional Airport in Bethalto, Illinois; taxiway rehabilitation at Indianapolis International Airport; sinkhole repair and runway rehabilitation at Monroe County Airport in Bloomington, Indiana; and a snow removal equipment and maintenance building at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1997 from Purdue University and is a licensed professional engineer in several states, including Missouri. He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, Aviation Indiana, Missouri Airport Managers Association, Missouri State Aviation Council and the Society of American Military Engineers.
