Herndon joins Hanson in St. Louis office
ST. LOUIS — Jaycen Herndon, engineer intern, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office, serving the firm’s aviation market. He will provide design support and construction observation assistance for consulting projects in Missouri and southwest Illinois.
Jaycen was an intern for Alliance Coal, maintaining belt lines and walking areas and constructing structural arches, footpath bridges and block-wall ventilation at Pattiki Mine in Carmi, Ill. He also was an intern for Aqua Illinois Inc. in Danville, Ill., where he mapped a water system and prepared cost reports, project bids and contracts.
Jaycen has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and was a member of the Order of the Engineer.
