Hecht celebrates 45 years at Hanson
PEORIA, Ill. — Jeffry Hecht, a resident project representative at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Peoria office, recently celebrated 45 years of service with the firm.
Hecht joined the company in 1972 and has provided laboratory and field tests; testing on soil, concrete and high-strength bolts; and construction inspections and observations. He also has served as survey party crew chief. He has worked on a variety of projects, including the rehabilitation of the McClugage Bridge over the Illinois River and parking garages for Methodist Medical Center of Illinois, all in Peoria; and development of the State Farm Corporate South campus and widening of Interstate 55/74, both in Bloomington. He also has provided construction observation for various Greater Peoria Sanitary District sewer projects.
Hecht received an associate degree in technical studies in 1971 from Illinois Valley Community College.
