Hanson’s Amy Kay serves as judge for Clarion Awards
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Amy Kay, public relations coordinator at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently served as a judge for the Clarion Awards. The Clarion Awards, organized by the Association of Women in Communications, symbolize excellence in clear, concise communications in more than 100 categories across all communications disciplines. Clarion winners represent media companies large and small, leading corporations, small businesses, and nonprofit associations and institutions.
Kay reviewed award nominations in the following categories: annual giving campaigns; ongoing public relations campaigns with an annual budget more than $50,000; public service/community affairs campaigns; and annual reports with a budget of more than $20,000.
Kay has a bachelor’s degree in communication and political science from Iowa State University. She currently is serving as a co-vice president of programs for the Association of Women in Communications, Springfield, Ill., chapter.
