Hanson supports emergency communications system deployment for major U.S. rail system
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. recently worked as part of a project team led by Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ wholly owned subsidiary Henry Bros. Electronics (HBE) to deploy a $3 million emergency communications system upgrade for a national rail service provider. This system upgrade improves the communication coverage and quality of service for the rail company’s employees and first responders.
Hanson provided project management, engineering and construction services. Ted Collora, PLS, a senior vice president and principal of Hanson’s telecommunications services, says, “This project demonstrates our company’s commitment to expanding our capabilities in integrated security and emergency communications systems while also developing our ongoing working relationship with Kratos Defense & Security Solutions.”
