Hanson named finalist in Bentley Be Inspired Awards
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Bentley Systems Inc. recently chose Hanson Professional Services Inc. as a finalist for its annual Be Inspired Awards. The Be Inspired Awards showcase excellence and innovation in the design, construction and operations of architecture and engineering infrastructure projects around the world. The awards program is open to all Bentley software users.
Hanson was recognized in the Connecting Project Teams category for its work on the Interstate 74 Mississippi River Crossing corridor. Hanson used Bentley’s ProjectWise and Project WebParts with SharePoint to develop and coordinate the document-managing software for the project, which involves constructing a new Mississippi River Bridge connecting Moline, Ill., with Bettendorf, Iowa, as well as reconstructing the interstate, ramps and local roads.
Bentley will feature the project in its annual publication, "The Year in Infrastructure," and its online Be Inspired Project Portfolios. The "Year in Infrastructure" is distributed in print to more than 150,000 professionals worldwide.
