Hampton becomes full-time civil intern at Hanson’s Jacksonville, Fla., office

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Dustin Hampton, EIT, a special consultant at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Jacksonville, Fla., office, recently became a full-time civil intern.

Hampton joined the company in September. He serves the infrastructure market and is responsible for analyzing stormwater structures and drainage design and analysis. He also assists with design for Florida Department of Transportation projects.

Prior to working at Hanson, Hampton had been a home inspection report auditor and a design and sales engineer for Jacksonville companies. He has an associate degree from Florida Community College of Jacksonville and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Florida. He is pursuing a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Florida. He is a student liaison for the Jacksonville chapter of Engineers Without Borders.
