Gotschall celebrates 15 years at Hanson

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Howard Gotschall II, P.E., S.E., a structural engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office, recently celebrated 15 years of service with the firm.

Gotschall joined the company in 1999 at the Springfield, Ill., headquarters and moved to the St. Louis regional office in 2001. He has provided bridge design for highway and rail projects, including multiple bridges for the Illinois and Missouri departments of transportation; reconstruction of an interchange at interstates 90 and 39; the Paducah and Louisville Railroad relocation for the Kentucky Dam lock addition on the Tennessee River in Kentucky; and the Alaska Railroad Corp. northern extension, which includes the Tanana River bridge in Salcha, Alaska.

Gotschall earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1999 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Structural Engineering Exam Development Committee for the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois and the Structural Engineers Association of Kansas and Missouri.
