Hanson adds Florida Panhandle office; Lemieux to serve Southeastern U.S. clients
CHIPLEY, Fla. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. has opened a second office in the Florida Panhandle. The Chipley, Fla., location brings the firm’s number of offices in the state to seven.
Brian Lemieux, P.E., has joined Hanson in Chipley as a senior project manager and regional manager. He will provide recruitment, business development and project management services for clients in the Florida Panhandle, southern Alabama and southern Georgia.
Prior to joining the company, Lemieux was a senior principal for an international engineering consulting firm in Bonifay, Fla., where, as part of the senior management team, he helped develop and implement regional business plans and budgets. He also provided project management and engineering services for firms in Chipley, Fla., and was a utility engineer for Regional Utilities of South Walton County.

Lemieux received an associate degree in engineering from Gulf Coast Community College and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, Alabama and Georgia. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers’ Emerald Coast, Mobile and Panama City posts. He also is a member of the Florida Engineering Society and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Hanson provides a variety of services on projects for municipal, state, federal and private-sector clients in Florida, with other offices in Jacksonville, Miami, Tallahassee and West Palm Beach and the Orlando and Sarasota regions. The firm was ranked 22nd in the large-company category on the “Best Companies to Work for in Florida” list by Florida Trend magazine this year.
