Artz marks 10 years at Hanson’s St. Louis regional office
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Todd Artz, P.E., PTOE, a traffic engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office, recently celebrated 10 years of service with the company.
Prior to joining Hanson in 2006, Artz was a civil engineer for an engineering and surveying firm in Chesterfield. At Hanson, he manages traffic studies and designs signing, striping and traffic signals and systems. He has worked on projects including environmental impact statements and a river freight corridor assessment and development plan for the Missouri Department of Transportation; traffic studies for the city of O’Fallon and the Illinois Department of Transportation; the Mississippi River bridge replacement in Moline, Illinois, and Bettendorf, Iowa; and a dual-lane roundabout in Rockford, Illinois.
Artz earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1999 from the University of Missouri. He is a licensed professional engineer in Missouri, Florida, Illinois and Iowa and a certified professional traffic operations engineer. He is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Transportation Engineers Association of Missouri.
