Hanson ranks second in ‘Best Places to Work in Illinois’
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. advanced to second out of 14 in the medium-employer category on a list of 51 companies named the best places to work in Illinois.
Hanson’s rankings, which were revealed at an awards ceremony May 9 at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn, is on the “Best Places to Work in Illinois” list managed by Houston-based Workforce Research Group. Workforce Research Group works with local media and publishing partners to establish “Best Places to Work” programs, which recognize businesses that create and maintain workplace excellence. Registered companies respond to employer and employee surveys, and Workforce Research Group analyzes that information and each company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics to determine a “Best Places to Work” list.
The best places to work in Illinois for women and Hispanics also were announced. Profiles of some of the companies from all categories will be published June 23 in a special supplement of Daily Herald Suburban Business.
In 2023, Hanson took fourth place out of 15 medium-sized employers on a list of 57 companies. This is the 19th year for “Best Places to Work in Illinois.”
