Dragoo joins Hanson’s Peoria office as railroad designer
PEORIA, Ill. — Drew Dragoo, EIT, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Peoria, Ill., office. He will be responsible for designing railway bridges and other structures.
Dragoo previously was an intern for the Illinois Department of Transportation, where he performed on-site inspections, monitored traffic control and identified safety concerns.
He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Bradley University. As a graduate research assistant, he helped further develop a research plan established to improve snow plow performance in Illinois. He was president of Bradley’s American Society of Civil Engineers chapter and a member of Chi Epsilon, a civil engineering honor society.
