Hanson hires Worthy as mechanical designer in Houston
HOUSTON — Drew Worthy, mechanical designer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Houston office. He will work on industrial projects by conceptualizing plans through drawings, resolving design issues, creating and checking 3D models as well as performing project management tasks, such as ensuring compliance with standards and coordinating with vendors.
Worthy previously was an intern for LJA Engineering Inc. in Houston, for which he assisted with piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams and documentation for various projects.
Worthy received a bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lamar University.
