Wilburn earns project management certification
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Samuel Wilburn, P.E., PMP, a transportation/drainage engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Tallahassee office, recently received the project management professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
Wilburn, who joined the firm in 2020, provides roadway evaluation and design, drainage design and construction plan production for Florida Department of Transportation projects. He received a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from Florida State University, and is a licensed professional engineer in Florida.
The Project Management Institute, a not-for-profit professional membership association, offers the PMP credential that recognizes demonstrated competence in leading and directing project teams.
