Downing celebrates 10 years at Hanson’s Jacksonville office
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Randy Downing, P.E., LEED AP®, senior project manager, recently celebrated 10 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Downing joined the firm in 2013, when the Jacksonville-based company he helped establish, Bowen Civil Engineering Inc., was acquired by Hanson. He has managed Hanson’s services for a variety of projects, including Freedom Park, the new Fire Station 63, two new Community First Credit Union branch offices and several road and drainage improvements, all in northeast Florida; golf course renovations at Omni Amelia Island Resort; and technical inspections for hundreds of Florida Department of Transportation stormwater management facilities in Duval County.
Downing received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1981 from Pennsylvania State University and is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design AP (accredited professional). He is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers, Florida Engineering Society, National Society of Professional Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers.
