Chantal Bowen celebrates 10 years at Hanson’s Jacksonville office
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Chantal Bowen, P.E., senior project manager, recently celebrated 10 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Bowen joined the firm in 2013, when the Jacksonville-based company she established, Bowen Civil Engineering Inc., was acquired by Hanson. She has overseen and managed a variety of projects for Hanson, including a multitude and diverse array of recreational parks in northeast Florida; drainage improvement projects, plan reviews for bridge repairs and off-system bridge replacement projects for the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) District 2; plan preparation for the FDOT District 2 Statewide Traffic and Railroad Initiative using Dynamic Envelopes (Operation STRIDE); and the award-winning FDOT District 2 State Road A1A/San Marco intersection improvements in St. Augustine.
Bowen received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1985 from the University of Florida and is a licensed professional engineer in Florida. She is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers, Florida Engineering Society, National Society of Professional Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers.
