Sturgeon celebrates 35 years at Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Ron Sturgeon, computer specialist, recently celebrated 35 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Sturgeon, who joined the company in 1988, was involved in a variety of projects as the company’s computer-aided design administrator, including work for airports; roadways; and educational, industrial and medical buildings. Currently, he is responsible for computer workstation and server installation, configuration and maintenance; and company software installation and configuration. He also has traveled to Hanson’s regional offices, installing or updating corporate computers and networks.
He earned an associate degree in architectural and construction technology in 1987 from Lake Land College and is a member of the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies.
