Second external advisory director joins Hanson’s board
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Ronald Batory has been elected to serve as an external advisory member on the board of directors for Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s holding company.
Hanson also reported its 2022 gross revenue as $114.4 million during its annual shareholder meeting April 11, which is an increase of 11.6% from 2021.
Batory was announced as the new board member for Hanson Group Inc. to fill the vacancy left by Gene Wilkinson, whose longtime service as a board member ended April 11. Wilkinson, who joined Hanson Professional Services Inc. in 1962 and served as the firm’s third president from 1990 to 1998 and CEO from 1995 to 1999, has been given the honorary title of chairman emeritus. Batory, who is the second outside advisory member on this board, has extensive experience in the railroad industry, most recently having served as the president and chief operating officer of Conrail. He also is a former administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration and has served on various governing boards in the industry and education sectors.
The other members of the Hanson Group Inc. board are Sergio “Satch” Pecori, chairman and president; Jeff Ball, secretary; Ronda Folkerts, treasurer; Kirk Brown; Grant Jackson; and Thomas Lamont, outside director.
The board of directors for Hanson Professional Services Inc. comprises Pecori, chairman and CEO; Ball, president and chief operating officer; Folkerts, executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer; Dennis Hollahan, vice president, secretary and general counsel; Jeff Bowen, senior vice president; Mina Biggs, vice president and chief people officer; Steve Alm and Wilfredo Rivera, vice presidents; and Kipkoech Chepkoit, assistant vice president.
