Hollahan celebrates 15 years at Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Dennis Hollahan, a vice president, general counsel, secretary and chief risk officer, recently celebrated 15 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Hollahan, who joined the company in 2008 and works at the Springfield headquarters, leads corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives, provides senior management with advice on company strategies and implementation and oversees the work of outside counsel. He maintains the firm’s risk assessment and management policies and procedures. He also serves on Hanson’s five-member executive committee.
Hollahan was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and served as a helicopter pilot during Desert Storm and later as a judge advocate general for the Illinois Army National Guard. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science in 1985 from Yale University and a Juris Doctor in 1997 from Notre Dame Law School. He is an Illinois licensed attorney at law and a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
