Canopy celebrates 15 years at Hanson
PEORIA, Ill. — Andy Canopy, P.E., PLS, PSM, assistant vice president and senior project manager, recently celebrated 15 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Canopy, who joined Hanson in 2008 and works at the Peoria office, has been involved in a variety of work, including land development; roadway improvements; bridge reconstruction; new buildings; electrical transmission, manufacturing and educational facilities design; stormwater management; and land surveys.
Canopy earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1993 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in 1994 from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration in 2002 from Bradley University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Vermont, professional land surveyor in Illinois and professional surveyor and mapper in Florida. He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois, American Society of Civil Engineers and the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association.
