Anderson celebrates 10 years at Hanson
LISLE, Ill. — Kevin Anderson, P.E., PTOE, senior transportation engineer, recently celebrated 10 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Anderson, who previously worked for the company before rejoining in 2013, works at the Chicago regional office. He provides roadway design and prepares roadway plans and traffic studies and has worked on projects including Americans with Disabilities Act sidewalk improvements in Cook and Kane counties; the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Boone, McHenry and Kane counties; the reconstruction of Jackson Boulevard and Vanna Court in Hillside; and the reconstruction of Ninth Street from Sixth Avenue to State Street in Rockford.
He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1996 from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree in engineering in 1998 from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Indiana and Texas and a certified professional traffic operations engineer.
