Stricker celebrates 10 years at Hanson’s headquarters
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — June Stricker, editor and photographer, recently celebrated 10 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters.
Stricker, who joined Hanson in 2012, writes and edits news releases, social media posts, award and blog entries, advertising copy and internal communications, including the company’s employee newsletter. She edits employees’ technical presentation papers, publication articles, proposal documents and reports for clients. She also photographs employee portraits, employee events and projects.
As a member of Hanson’s corporate communications department, Stricker and her colleagues received several awards of distinction from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts’ Communicator Awards in 2022 and 2019.
She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2002 from Bradley University. She is a member of the Association for Women in Communications’ Springfield Area Chapter, from which she received the Chapter Star Award in 2015, and ACES: The Society for Editing.
