Painter celebrates 15 years at Hanson’s Peoria office
PEORIA, Ill. — Travis Painter, P.E., S.E., an associate project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Peoria office, recently celebrated 15 years of service with the firm.
Painter joined the company in 2007 and has provided design services primarily for rail projects, including Union Pacific Railroad’s Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) program; the emergency repair of Norfolk Southern Corp.’s partially collapsed bridge over the Grand River near Brunswick, Missouri; and the BNSF Railway Co.’s Sandpoint Junction Connector project to relieve rail traffic congestion in Sandpoint, Idaho, which includes a 4,800-foot-plus bridge over Lake Pend Oreille.
Painter received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering in 2004 and 2006 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states, including Illinois, a licensed structural engineer in Illinois and Washington and a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
