Cowan joins Hanson as corporate safety administrator
Andy Cowan, corporate safety administrator, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc. Working from Houston, he will lead Hanson’s corporate efforts to provide a safe and healthy work environment for the staff, reduce the risk of workplace injuries, verify compliance with health and safety regulations and make Hanson more competitive.
Cowan has more than a decade of experience in workplace safety and environmental compliance. He was previously a quality, health, safety and environment specialist for Magris Talc in Houston. He received a bachelor’s degree in environmental management from the University of Houston and is a certified associate safety professional.
