Sassin joins Hanson’s office in Austin
AUSTIN, Texas — James Sassin, P.E., senior project manager, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Austin office. He will be responsible for growing Hanson’s transportation market in Central Texas, with a primary focus on Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) business development.
Sassin has more than 30 years of experience in transportation engineering, most recently as a senior project manager for a national engineering firm in Austin. He also worked for 10 years for TxDOT, including in the design division. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in public affairs from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas, New Mexico and South Carolina and a member of the Central Texas Branch’s board of directors for the American Public Works Association’s Texas Chapter.
