Anderson joins Hanson’s Chicago office
CHICAGO — Kevin Anderson, P.E., PTOE, transportation engineer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office, serving the firm’s infrastructure market. His primary responsibilities will include preparing roadway plans and traffic studies. His initial assignment is to obtain Phase I design approval for the widening and reconstruction of Butterfield Road in Hillside, Ill. He also will assist the roadway team with the design of the widening and reconstruction of the Jane Addams Tollway in Boone, Kane and McHenry counties and Interstate 74 in the Quad Cities.
Anderson has more than 14 years of experience in roadway design, traffic studies and engineering studies and planning. He previously worked for Hanson and Chicago-area engineering firms. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
