Education

Whether you’re building or updating a facility at the K-12 level or in the realm of higher learning, it’s not just the aesthetics that matter. The necessary complement to a beautifully designed building is a well-conditioned, purposefully illuminated space where students, faculty and staff can work comfortably, secure in the air quality and confident in the dependability and performance of the systems behind the scenes. Also critical to any new facility is attention to sustainability and resilience —for cost savings and environmental consciousness.

Our specialists understand your challenges and special considerations — usage, accessibility, opportunities for growth and expansion, operational efficiency and user-friendliness. We partner with your critical stakeholders, focusing our efforts on your priorities.

K-12 facilities

Our nation’s K-12 schools house some of the most vulnerable and precious members of our population — our children. The spaces they learn in need to be secure, up to date and conducive to learning. We have worked for dozens of K-12 schools and districts in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas. Our elementary and high school project work encompasses a wide range of tasks, including designing and commissioning new schools; renovating gymnasiums, classrooms and cafeterias; upgrading energy-using systems and controls; addressing security systems and issues; and formulating transportation drop-off and pickup logistics.
