As Hanson’s environmental compliance discipline manager, Scot’s focus is promoting effective environmental compliance and remediation for industrial and municipal clients.
A geologist with more than 25 years of experience, Scot specializes in providing environmental regulatory compliance and geological investigations to the clients he serves in Texas and beyond. His leadership and technical experience include compliance monitoring and reporting, permitting and remediation services and finding innovative solutions for a wide range of environmental challenges.

Since joining Hanson, Scot has served as a discipline manager and a project manager for crucial environmental initiatives, including preparing and implementing groundwater monitoring plans and continued compliance activities, preparing landfill gas remediation plans for cities and counties across Texas, conducting semi-annual groundwater monitoring events for closed hazardous waste landfills, performing soil assessments for sewage facilities, performing constraints analysis and obtaining permits for solid-waste facilities.
