With a strong background in structural, geotechnical and construction engineering, Ryne Fiorito serves as Hanson’s building structural discipline manager, leading the firm’s structural design initiatives across multiple industries. Since joining Hanson in 2009, he has played a key role, nationally and around the world, in delivering design and construction support of educational, industrial, medical, military and water-supply facilities, as well as parking garages, pedestrian bridges, levees, municipal landfills and power-generating stations.

Ryne specializes in building-structural design, condition assessments and construction coordination tailored to each of his clients’ unique project needs. He has experience in design standards including the International Building Code, Unified Facilities Criteria, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requirements and National Electric Safety Code. His comprehensive approach covers all phases of structural engineering, from site evaluation to final construction, and he takes pride in delivering project results with precision and efficiency.

A devoted advocate of engineering, Ryne serves as a representative of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers and was recognized as Young Engineer of the Year by the Capital Chapter in 2017.
