As a vice president and Hanson’s aviation business development director, Kevin provides business development and client relationship leadership for Hanson’s aviation market spanning the Southeast and Midwest U.S. He also champions the aviation market’s strategic growth, including innovation in emerging markets, building key relationships and collaborating across company business lines.

A licensed professional civil engineer with nearly 30 years of professional experience — including the last 20 years in aviation — Kevin’s is most proud of two career accomplishments in the airport airfield design and airport program management space, both at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago:

  • delivering the $1.3 billion new Runway 10C-28C and associated taxiways as the project manager of a joint-venture design team
  • serving as the lead airfield program manager for the first two phases of new the Runway 9C-27C and associated taxiways

Kevin, a 1996 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (U of I), remains active with his alma mater by serving on the U of I Civil Engineering Alumni Board. He and his wife, Jennifer, and their two children reside in the Charlotte, North Carolina, metropolitan area.
