Brian Wozniak

Serving as a water resources engineer and project manager, Brian connects Hanson’s water resources team with its clients, enabling effective solutions for crucial water resources projects. His leadership has been instrumental in helping communities and industries develop resilient, sustainable water infrastructure in Florida, Texas and throughout the Midwest.

Since joining Hanson in 2010, Brian has primarily served municipal clients with project management; watershed modeling and master planning; floodplain and floodway modeling; water quality analysis, erosion control, grading erosion and sediment control plans; dam failure analysis; and river and watershed hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. He also has been involved in project-specific website development and public outreach, and he is proficient in multiple industry-leading software applications. As Hanson’s water resources discipline manager, he has maintained and grown a technically talented engineering staff to advance the Hanson brand in the water resources industry.

Brian serves on the board of directors for the American Water Resources Association’s Florida Section and is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida’s Water Resources Committee. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Association of State Dam Safety Officials, Association of State Floodplain Managers, Florida Engineering Society and the Florida Stormwater Association.

Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield. He is a licensed professional engineer in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Virginia, is a certified floodplain manager and is National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System qualified.
