Austin’s core values are serving others through problem- and process analysis, technology development and intentional implementation. As a geospatial project manager, he applies those values to each Hanson project he undertakes, with innovation at the center of his strategy.

With an emphasis on using geographic information systems (GIS), Austin helps communities find ways to capitalize on technologies such as digital twins to create forward-thinking solutions for infrastructure and asset management.

Austin brings a strong background in leadership, technical expertise and government operations to his role at Hanson. Driven by results, he excels in operations management optimization and process improvement, training and development, vision development and mission success and strategic thinking.

Continued learning is a high priority for Austin, who completed the Excellence in Government Fellows Program in 2025 and holds multiple professional certifications, including certified scrum master, project management professional and GIS professional. With advanced training from the U.S. Army, he completed the Advanced Leaders Course in 2016 and has maintained his U.S. Army instructor certification since the same year. He also holds a Security+ certification from CompTIA and possesses a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance (2011–25), demonstrating his commitment to security and high-level operational capabilities.
