Vail joins Hanson’s headquarters as senior transportation engineer
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Michael Vail, P.E., senior transportation engineer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters. He will specialize in roadway design and development, functioning as a task manager and assisting the project managers with technical expertise.
Vail has more than 35 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on transportation engineering. He most recently was the director of transportation for a consulting engineering firm in Springfield.
Vail received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky and Missouri.
