Nicol earns project management certification
LISLE, Ill. — Andy Nicol, P.E., S.E., PMP, an assistant vice president and a project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently received the project management professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
Nicol, who joined the firm in 2001 and works at the Chicago regional office, provides project management and structural services for the planning, design and construction of roadway and railroad bridges. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Michigan, a licensed structural engineer in Illinois and a licensed civil engineer in California.
The Project Management Institute, a not-for-profit professional membership association, offers the PMP credential that recognizes demonstrated competence in leading and directing project teams.
