Martinez Acosta joins Hanson as regional stormwater lead
LISLE, Ill. — Francisco Martinez Acosta, P.E., regional stormwater lead, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office. He will lead stormwater and water resources projects across the Midwest, particularly in northeastern Illinois. His work will include civil engineering design, watershed studies, drainage systems, hydrologic modeling, stormwater management and water quality assessments, green infrastructure, permitting and plan production. He will also oversee staff and support business development efforts.
Martinez Acosta has several years of experience in transportation engineering with a concentration on drainage design, most recently as a transportation project manager for an engineering firm in Chicago. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Georgia.
