Keller celebrates 10 years at Hanson

LISLE, Ill. — Mark Keller, P.E., S.E., structural engineer, recently celebrated 10 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office.

Keller, who joined the firm in 2015, has designed bridge and retaining wall components for rail projects throughout the country, including for an emergency repair of Norfolk Southern Corp.’s bridge over the Grand River near Brunswick, Missouri, and BNSF Railway Co.’s Sandpoint Junction Connector project in Sandpoint, Idaho, which includes a 4,875-foot bridge over Lake Pend Oreille. He also provided services for Chicago Regional Environmental and Transportation Efficiency Program (CREATE) projects in Chicago. He conducts precast-concrete plant inspections nationwide as part of Hanson’s contract with the National Precast Concrete Association.

Keller received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering in 2014 and 2015, respectively, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Alabama, Mississippi and North Carolina and is a licensed structural engineer in Illinois.
