Heaton celebrates 15 years at Hanson

LISLE, Ill. — Mark Heaton, P.E., senior project manager, recently celebrated 15 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office.

Heaton, who joined the company in 2010, has more than 27 years of experience in the design and management of large, complex highway reconstruction and rehabilitation projects. His leadership in guiding multidisciplinary teams has been instrumental in the successful delivery of many projects. His notable projects include the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Boone, Kane and McHenry counties; design corridor management services for the master plan of 22 miles of Interstate 294 (Central Tri-State Tollway) in Cook and DuPage counties; the reconstruction and widening of a 4-mile section of the Central Tri-State Tollway in Cook County; and the reconstruction of Interstate 74 through Moline, associated with the Mississippi River bridge replacement in Moline and Bettendorf, Iowa.

Heaton received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1998 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed professional engineer in several states, including Illinois.
