Amid Miami’s culturally diverse, palm tree-dotted metropolitan landscape, Hanson’s South Florida team supports a variety of airport and roadway projects across the region for clients ranging from Miami-Dade County and other municipalities to Vero Beach Regional Airport and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) districts 4 and 6.
Notable projects from the Miami team include final design services for FDOT District 6’s three direct-connect flyover ramps from Okeechobee Road to the Palmetto Expressway and a project development and environment (PD&E) study of cutting-edge mobility and safety improvements to the heavily used Iron Triangle Urban Interchange in Miami-Dade County, as well as a PD&E study to analyze the benefits of widening County Road 510 from two to four lanes from 58th Avenue East to State Road 5/U.S. Route 1 in Indian River County, Florida.
