Hanson provided Federal Aviation Administration-certified small, unmanned aircraft system pilots and registered unmanned aerial aircraft for observing facilities indoors and outdoors at City Water Light and Power’s power plant in Springfield, Illinois.
Hanson’s drone observation acquired aerial, high-resolution video and images, thermal imaging video and images, aerial orthomosaic photos, 3D models of vertical and horizontal facilities. Coal pile, ash pond and landfill volume were calculated.
