Hanson’s commitment to assist the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) during natural or man-made disasters in the U.S. was rooted in an indefinite delivery contract with Fluor Enterprises Inc.  Along with a variety of industry-leading companies and consultants, Hanson contributed to a well-rounded team, offering more than 50 professional and technical disciplines grouped in five basic categories.  These categories included facilities and infrastructure; environmental and biological; financial; insurance; and management and support.

Together, these consultants provided FEMA with essential capacity and capability following a disaster to mobilize personnel, helped restore governmental operations and offset the costs of emergency services and repairs to public facilities and infrastructure.
