Hanson Professional Services invites you to explore your path through our 2026 Engineering Internship Program, designed for curious and motivated students seeking hands-on experience. We have several opportunities available in various locations and across multiple engineering fields.
Day in the Life of a Student Intern at Hanson
Here’s a snapshot of what you would do in this role:
Our internships offer a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. Interns can work within a variety of engineering disciplines, including:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
Interns actively participate in projects by gaining exposure to real-world challenges and contributing to meaningful work.

What We’re Looking For
We feel the following qualifications would set you up for success in this role:
Soft Skills:
- Participants should be able to build effective relationships with both internal and external client bases, work independently and as a team member, solve problems, and acquire new technical skills.
- Interest in experiencing a variety of assignments is essential.
Education/Training:
- Active students pursuing a degree in engineering (any discipline)
- Completed at least one year of college coursework
- Are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
The hourly range for this position is $21 – $25 per hour for undergraduates.
$30 – $40 per hour for post-graduates.
