With more than 30 years of experience in aviation infrastructure and program management, Todd is a senior vice president and coordinates the operations and business development efforts of the company’s aviation team as the aviation market principal.
Todd began his career at Hanson as a summer intern for two years before joining the company full time in 1995 for 10 years. After a period serving as an aviation principal and a regional department leader for an international engineering firm, he rejoined Hanson in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of aviation infrastructure knowledge.

Throughout his career, Todd has supported a variety of public and private clients at airports ranging from general aviation facilities to large, international hubs. He has brought his experience and leadership to dozens of airfield, landside and terminal projects, serving as a project executive, project manager or lead designer at locations across the globe, including Brisbane, Australia; Manila, Philippines; London; Denver; Chicago; and Dallas. Most notably, he served as the design manager for O’Hare 21, O’Hare International Airport’s $8.5 expansion, and as the project manager for O’Hare’s $1.3 billion Runway 10C-28C, which earned numerous national and regional awards and was completed on time and under budget.
Todd’s wide range of experience spans client-side program management and consultant-side design leadership, enabling him to approach projects with a comprehensive perspective. His experience also includes preparing specifications, supervising construction, reviewing shop drawings, estimating cost and manpower, managing project closeouts and preparing presentations and proposals. By combining his broad experience with innovative ideas, Todd strives to deliver project solutions that meet each client’s cost, constructability, sustainability and safety goals.
