As Hanson’s civil building information modeling (BIM) manager, Seth leads the development and delivery of BIM strategy across civil infrastructure projects, helping our teams make the most of our digital tools and workflows. A significant part of Seth’s role is training and upskilling staff, helping people build confidence with BIM processes and achieve superior results from tools like Civil 3D and AutoCAD. He works closely with project teams to build connected, data-rich 3D models; drive collaboration across disciplines; and maintain the standards that keep Hanson’s projects running smoothly from initial design through project delivery.

Based in Florida, Seth has significantly standardized Hanson’s digital workflows, developing and implementing company-wide Civil 3D templates and computer-aided design and drafting standards to promote consistency and efficiency across project teams. He has also contributed to the design of several key Florida projects, including the West Jacksonville Community Center site design; the Fire Stations 70 and 90 design-build projects in Nassau County; the lifeguard station expansion in Atlantic Beach; Metropolitan Park renovations in Jacksonville; design services for the University of North Florida; and improvements to Choctaw Beach Park in Walton County.
