Ron serves Hanson as a computer-aided design (CAD) administrator at Hanson. His responsibilities include managing and supporting the firm’s CAD systems and software, with a focus on Bentley Systems Inc. products.

Before he joined Hanson in 2024, Ron gained more than 30 years of CAD experience as a building information modeling manager for a global engineering firm based in Canada and as the chief technology officer, the information technology director and a CAD administrator at a large architecture, engineering and construction firm.

While he specializes in computer-aided design, drafting support and training, Ron also provides broader information technology insight, offering assistance across different areas, from server setup and configuration, networking and help desk response.

He holds several accreditations from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), along with an accreditation from Bentley for ProjectWise.
