‘A TRUSTED ADVISER TO RAILWAYS’“I have always enjoyed being a trusted adviser to railways to engineer their infrastructure expansions and manage their assets. It is so rewarding to lead teams of engineering professionals, invested as employee-owners, as extensions of our railway clients’ staff to deliver projects.”
Known for his ability to guide multidisciplinary teams for both public- and private-sector clients across urban and rural environments, Mike consistently addresses challenges related to constructability, permitting, innovative materials and accelerated project delivery. He brings extensive experience coordinating with local, state and federal agencies, as well as leading public outreach and stakeholder engagement efforts.
Mike has provided services for many high-profile, complex projects during his career, including the Alaska Railroad Corp.’s Port MacKenzie Rail Extension in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in Alaska and the Northern Rail Extension, which includes the Tanana River Bridge in Salcha, Alaska; track and parking expansions at BNSF Railway Co.’s Logistics Park Chicago; the expansion and upgrade of Kansas City Southern de Mexico’s Sanchez Yard near Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico; and the expansion of Union Pacific Railroad’s North Little Rock Yard.
