Known for translating complex asset management concepts into practical, results-driven solutions, Ed brings deep expertise across the full asset lifecycle — from asset data and information systems to decision support, risk modeling, lifecycle planning and capital and operations and management strategy. By bridging technical rigor with business strategy, he helps organizations advance asset management maturity while delivering measurable improvements in reliability and sustainability.
Ed is also an active contributor to the global engineering community. He serves on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO TC 251 (Asset Management) and is co-convener of the ISO TC 251 Finance Working Group, helping shape global asset management standards. He is also a published author of leading guidance documents, including Best Practices in Asset Management for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ISO 55002 and ISO 55010.
Ed is a member of the Institute of Asset Management (MIAM) and earned the IAM Diploma in Asset Management with distinction.
