As vice president of business development in Hanson’s power market, C J develops opportunities with new and existing clients across the power industry and serves as a trusted liaison, providing consulting services to help them navigate operational challenges and strategy.
C J has extensive experience in safety management, regulatory and environmental compliance, union relations, union contract negotiations and budget management. Prior to joining Hanson in 2018, he served as the vice president of plant operations for Dynegy Inc., where he managed multiple power plants and optimized the capital budgets of all Dynegy power plants nationwide.

Dedicated to the Springfield community, C J served on the board of directors for the Central Illinois Foodbank for nine years, including four years as board president. He was also on the Christian County United Way board and was recognized as the Distinguished Alumnus of Christ the King School in 2020.
