Brian leads building information modeling strategy and coordination across Hanson’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) disciplines as the MEP BIM manager in the Maitland, Florida office. With more than a decade of specialized experience in electrical design for the aviation, commercial, federal, government and infrastructure sectors, he focuses on maintaining strong BIM standards while supporting consistent, cross-disciplinary coordination on complex work across Central Florida, Texas and beyond.

A former electrical designer, Brian brings deep technical expertise to his BIM leadership role, with hands-on knowledge of power distribution, lighting design and photometrics, service entrance sizing, emergency generator sizing, lightning protection, grounding and fire alarm design. His project experience includes major infrastructure work, such as central energy plants for multiple clients; electrical design for the Orlando International Airport South Terminal Complex expansion; and extensive work for education and government clients including Orange County, Osceola County, Lake County and Lake Sumter State College. Throughout his career, Brian has coordinated across the disciplines of architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, signage, landscape and civil to promote BIM standards compliance and model integrity.

Brian specializes in Revit, Autodesk Forma, AutoCAD and Dynamo, with expertise in BIM family development, electrical schedules and cross-discipline model management. His commitment to streamlined processes and effective coordination helps Hanson deliver integrated design solutions for our most complex projects.
