AdventHealth contacted Hanson after experiencing problems with hot water at its hospital in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Hanson evaluated the hospital’s domestic hot water system, which was failing to properly heat water in several rooms on the second and third floors and was causing hot water supply temperature issues on the fourth floor.
Hanson reviewed the facility’s existing construction and as-built documents, conducted a field survey of existing conditions and obtained data from existing systems and equipment. Based on its findings, Hanson developed recommendations to alleviate the issues and improve the performance of the domestic hot water system.
